The King's Lynn Night Shelter welcomes referrals from other organisations working with the homeless, including the police, probation services, and the Purfleet Trust. If you work with any of these organisations and would like to request a referral form, please contact us using the information on our Home page.
We are also able to assist and advise individuals who self-refer (i.e. come to our door for help). Anyone over the age of 18 can stay at the Night Shelter, provided that they have no safe alternative accommodation available to them, and we feel that we can safely accommodate them on the night in question. All potential guests are risk assessed at the point of arrival. We can accommodate individuals with no local connection to West Norfolk on a case-by-case basis.
Upon arrival, all guests will sign an agreement to not bring weapons or illegal drugs on site, to meet regularly with our support workers with the aim of finding longer term accommodation, and act with respect towards all guests, staff, volunteers, visitors and local residents.
If you have nowhere to stay tonight, please give us a call. If you do not currently have access to a phone, come and see us in person, where we will be happy to discuss your situation and help you however we can.
